Are you ready to win the NAMS7 Sales Contest?

It would help you knew the rules, I’m sure…so, I’ll outline a few of them below:

How many winners will there be? Three! One student at NAMS7, one instructor, and one person from the rest of the world. Previous students have walked away with nearly $20,000 in product, coaching, courses and consultations.

  • NAMS7 Students in attendance at the workshop.During the six previous sales contests, we’ve had some incredible stories of very unlikely students jumping ahead with a little creative effort and snagging the victory with several sales. There will be a winner in the audience this time too.

  • NAMS7 Instructors. Instructors should be able to far outpace students in sales, but sometimes students surprise us. Connie Ragen Green was the winner by a mile at NAMS6 – kind of embarrass some of our more seasoned instructors… (Yes, that was a gauntlet I just threw at your feet instructors!) Instructors will receive a very special incentive in addition to the computer pictured at right.
  • Everyone else! This is the really exciting addition this time. Anyone NOT attending NAMS can compete for first prize in this MyNAMS Premium Membership sales contest. Only requirement is that you must register at MyNAMS to receive your affiliate links.

Winners will receive the Acer Aspire One AO722-0473 11.6-Inch HD Netbook (Espresso Black) pictured at right.

It happens to be our computer of choice for this workshop. We have 5 of them running the individual rooms. And I’m typing this on one now. Awesome little computers.

What are the rules?

Like everything else, we try to keep the NAMS sales contest as simple as possible. The first rule is about integrity.

  1. Anyone suspected of gaming the system (excessive refunds, fraudulent activity, etc.) will be disqualified.
  2. There are three categories of winners and only three winners will be awarded the Acer Aspire One AO722-0473 11.6-Inch HD Netbook (Espresso Black) above.
  3. Instructors often contribute additional products to the winner in attendance, but are not required to do so.
  4. The contest will begin at 9 a.m. ET on Friday, Feb. 10 and will conclude at 4:45 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 12.
  5. To win, the student, instructor or non-attending participant must be the leader in their category for sales.
  6. In the event of a tie, we will have a sell-off where the time will be extended for the two affiliates who are tied to drive as many new sales as possible.
  7. A “sale” is a “New Member Referral” in the aMember system.
  8. If a person who has already been referred by an affiliate and confirmed in the system with at least one transaction including a free membership, that affiliate continues to be credited with the commissions from the buyer.
  9. Spamming is not allowed.
  10. Affiliates may send traffic from any legitimate source including social media, content publishing, email marketing or video marketing, or others not mentioned here.

We highly recommend using a redirect link!

And we have really good reasons for that. The first is that you can get a cheap domain (click here) to make it easier to remember your link. Second, if you and a 1oo0 other people send out raw affiliate links, the MyNAMS domain could get targeted as a spammer and that would be bad for all of us.

Let me know if you need help getting a domain and setting up a redirect.

So, get busy. You can start peppering prospect list with affiliate links to get them tagged in the system with your link before the workshop. A really good option would be to drive them to the Marketing IQ Test this week and then convert those folks into the MyNAMS Premium membership over the weekend. Get your affiliate links in the Affiliate Toolbox.
