Sure, anyone can manipulate numbers. So, I'll explain exactly how these were computed.
Conversion = Transactions Divided By Unique Visitors
A transaction includes converting visitors to a free product. We offer a ton of value for our visitors and even more for paid members. The 24% conversion ain't bad, but frankly, we haven't done anything yet to improve that. Over the first nine months of the MyNAMS site, we've been collecting data and building product. So, I fully expect this conversion rate to go much, much higher as we optimize the value to signup proposition and our ability to present that value prop much better.
Earnings Per Click = Total Dollars After Refunds Divided By Unique Visitors
This is a very important number for you. It tells you whether it's worth your time and effort to send people to the MyNAMS site. And believe me, it is. This EPC of $1.93 average is awesome. That means you could actually spend as much as $1.93 on average on advertising to drive traffic to the MyNAMS site and still make money on conversions.
If you have 1,000 clicks, you can expect to earn $1930 in commissions over a nine month period on average. Of course, your results could be greater or lesser and we make no guarantees, but I want to share with you the numbers of our top six affiliates.
The top affiliate has a 52% conversion rate. WOW! She has an incredible relationship with her community. They obviously trust her and do what she tells them to do. Her click value is a whopping $4.10 and the transaction value is $7.10. Not bad. How does she do it?
She sends regular endorsements of the MyNAMS system in her e-mail and makes regular blog posts. NAMS comes up in her conversations often. She's a big believer in and proponent of NAMS.
See an interesting variance between the two views:
The top 6 affiliates have a higher EPC by about 20 cents than the average of all affiliates, but the average earnings per transaction is higher than the top six affiliates by about $1.65. Why is that?
The best affiliates are always driving traffic to MyNAMS because they are looking for long-term and consistent money. Inexperienced affiliates with a shorter view will promote only paid products or the workshop. The transaction value is higher and return is faster in the short term, but the opportunity is not as farsighted.
Neither is wrong, just different.
Earnings Per Transaction = Total Value Divided By Number of Transactions
What is a transaction? Any time a prospect signs up for an aMember product, they've converted to a transaction. Any of our products are included in that count, including free products. If we stuck with just the paid products, the conversion rate would be lower and the transaction value much higher, but this number gives you a very good picture of how well our funnel and customer engagement is working.
For every transaction, even the free ones, the average value for all affiliates is $8.06. So, if you converted 100 visitors to the free affiliate training series, you could expect to receive about $800 over the nine month period in paid commissions. Not bad.
Of course, your results could be greater or lesser and we make no guarantees. These numbers are for your planning purposes only!
