Take a closer look at MyNAMS.com with this 7-part series

Session1 – Overview

MyNAMS.com, at first glance,  can appear to be overwhelming because it’s so big. But truly, it’s pretty simple once you carve off a chunk.

It’s like walking through Home Depot for the first time. How on earth do you find anything? Wait, there are those signs on each aisle telling you what’s there.

We have a lot of signs at MyNAMS too. But we also thought it would be a great idea to walk you down the aisles and show you what’s on the shelves.

So, we’ve created a 7-Part  Series to demonstrate the different pieces of the MyNAMS website.

We’re spending 30 minutes each on a specific section. Then we’ll open it up for questions.

The first video is below. If you’re a current member, you’ll see the rest of them below that. If you’re a visitor to MyNAMS, you can sign up to view the rest of videos for free by inputting the requested information in the box at the right.

Be sure to use your preferred e-mail address because we will send you confirmation link.

In this series, we’ll dig into:

7 Short Webinars on How to Use MyNAMS where you will discover  how to use everything in the membership site. Whether you’re just thinking about joining MyNAMS or you’re a member already and want to see how to use it better to support your business goals, this series shows you how to get the most out of this massive site.

I love all the great information and training provided by NAMS. I would like to make one request…or maybe it already exists and I have not found it.
It would be so nice to have a member history.
In other words. There is sooo much information that I am noticing that sometimes I end up on something twice. It would be nice to have a history area where I could see what videos I have watched, what training I have completed and so fourth.
I realize that I kind of have that with the NAMS dashboard training but there are also all the videos and even downloads. Knowing what I have done or not done would be nice.

    • David Perdew says:

Really great suggestion Tammy – not sure how I’d pull that off with the depth of the site, but I’ll talk it over with our programmer and see what he says. But I love the suggestion. Keep ‘em coming. Glad you’re enjoying the site.

  2. David,

I’m really enjoying this series: Each new session I learn something new, and the wheels in my head begin to spin about how to implement the information.

I do have a question: Is there a designated Q & A location for this video series? If not, where is the best place to post and ask about the specifics covered in each video?

    • David Perdew says:

Shawn, I’m really glad it’s helpful. I think the best place to ask questions about this series is probably right here in the comments. So, fire away. And we’ll get right back to you.

  3. Hi David,

Just remember, you asked for them!

    1. During the 4th training session, you mentioned being able to get a “Daily Digest” of the Forum activity. That sounds very helpful to organize scheduled Forum time, so how does one sign up for it?

    2. During the 5th training session, the JV Calendar is explained–this looks very exciting, but am I allowed to post an event that does not have a JV Opportunity attached to it. (e.g. I would like to announce my free teleseminars and Webinars, but I do not have any affiliate programs in place for either.)

    3. I decided to share one of the Videos by clicking the FB share button, and then it dawned on me: Does that attach my affiliate link?

That’s it for today! And thanks in advance for your time.

    Hi David,

So glad you created this series. It makes navigation and usage much more productive … with easier navigation. I like that you explain how better to engage with fellow NAM members in tune with the site set-up.

Your explanation on how to promote the products is especially useful. Thanks.
