About Cathy
Recognized for her outstanding success in business, Cathy Demers has won the Canadian Woman Entrepreneur Award (Western Canada), the Business in Vancouver Top 40 Under 40 Award, and has twice been nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
After completing a university Degree in Economics, Cathy went on to amass a combined 20 years in business development from Microsoft, IBM, and as co-founder of The Electric Mail Company, Inc. This company was successfully listed as a stock exchange traded company while Cathy served as President and CEO.
She has been a keynote speaker and instructor for many organizations, both in Canada and the US, including the Women Presidents Organization, BC Ministry of Small Business, Wired Women, the BC Technology Industry Association and the National Research Council of Canada.
Now Cathy is on a mission to support small business owners and solopreneurs to have the successful business they dream of and, this is just as important, have a great time building them!
