I need your vote!
At the time of this writing and for the next couple of weeks, you'll see a Poll in the right sidebar on this site asking for your opinion about the best time to conduct our weekly live training workshops.
We currently hold the training each
Wednesday night at 8 PM eastern time.
That's a pretty good time for most people in the US, and pretty terrible for most people elsewhere.
Here’s what we’re trying to discover with our poll:
- What is the time that our membership would prefer and would most likely attend the weekly live training?
- What segments of our membership prefer which times?
- And how to best serve the membership?
- Are the replays more important than the live training?
There's only one question on this poll. We'll have additional ones later to determine of those other answers, but it starts with getting a good answer to #1, so...
Choose the time that works best for you.
Choose one time...input your own. If we determine that the current time is the best time for our members, we'll continue with Wednesday night at 8 PM ET.
The training we offer is very informative and important element of the NAMS system because:
- We try out new instructors there to see if they're a good fit for our NAMS instructor corps
- We use it to acquaint new folks with the MyNAMS Total Business System training
- We present and build focused training here that then finds it's way into our module training always keeping the training fresh and up-to-date
- The weekly live training sessions also introduce tools and information products to our members that they may not know about yet
If you liked what the instructor taught, you may want to purchase the product. But no purchase is required to watch the training. Ever.
And currently, we keep the training replays up for 7 days to make sure our non-members can take advantage of it. We've played around with the replay time for non-members. It's gone from no replay for non-members to what we currently have - 7 days. And I'm not sure it will stay there.
Replays are great, but there's nothing like being there live!
You have the chance to ask questions and to participate in the call. Sometimes, we've even opened up the line to members who want to ask a specific question of the instructor.
Being live and engaging is always for the action takers - the folks who like to implement what they've learned. That's our focus. So, the key question for you is this:
Why the MyNAMS Insiders Club is EXACTLY
what you're looking for!
MyNAMS TEAM - You never have to work in isolation again!
The MyNAMS Team goes way beyond the staff and support personnel. We've put together a group of people who make it their mission to ensure your success. With more than 75 instructors and 100s of members, you find people who can answer your questions quickly, partner with you to create products, and build relationships that help you launch your business or take it to the next level.
We've worked diligently to ensure you have the ability to communicate with us, instructors, and peers (at your own experience level) in a safe environment and find the right mentors or coaches just for you. We make the introductions that you want.

MyNAMS Training - Learn what you need when you need to learn it!
The MyNAMS Training system is focused on thorough step-by-step instruction with that meets you where you are. It makes no sense to teach you advanced strategies and techniques when you don't have a blog or website. And teaching you how to install a blog when you have dozens already is ridiculous. First, we determine where you are in your experience and then we point you to the right level of training that will enhance your business experience from Novice to Advanced.
Yes! We teach marketing, traffic generation, technology, keyword research and much more, but only when you're ready. And if you need help just getting the technical aspects of doing business online, we have more than 1300 tutorial videos in the Library.
Look for the icon at the left in the benefits grid to see the specific training options we offer.
MyNAMS Tools - Content, graphics, audio, checklists - we've got it for you!
The MyNAMS Tool belt comes with just about everything you need to get a business up and running. In fact, you can be selling products from the Niche Mall even if you've never sold anything before and don't have a website. One of the most frustrating parts about doing business online is realizing you have to nickel and dime yourself to bankrupcy before you can actually get a site up. Not with us.
We provide you graphics, article content, images, audio clips, reports, sales funnels, turnkey websites, and even adsense website portals so you can begin immediately to create or improve your business with confidence that you don't have to spend a ton more cash.

Hi David
I’m in the UK so the time difference is around 5 hours. When your training is at 8.00pm, it’s 01.00am here.
Shan
David Perdew says
Understand Shan. That’s why we’re doing the poll to give folks a vone.
And of course, the replays are always available to members.
Sandra Hovatter says
In response to the question how can we improve the weekly training sessions, my only response would be to return to the old approach (the one that was active when I joined NAMS) of having them available in the vault forever. I have another business and am only able to apply a certain number of hours to my affiliate marketing efforts each week. Often that means I won’t be able to watch the weekly live training sessions during the week (or following week) they are taped. One of the benefits of NAMS was that they were available whenever I needed them.
You guys do a great job and provide so much info, we have to be diligent about not going into overload. That means only dealing with what we can deal with in any given week. Thanks for all you do.
Sandy
Bal Simon says
I agree with Sandra about keeping them available in the vault. In addition to the reason Sandra gave, here’s one more: There are times I want to return to a reference material. Keeping the materials available would help with this.
David Perdew says
I’m sorry. You guys seem to be under the impression that as members you can’t access the weekly live training replays. Not true! They ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE to every member at all member levels EXCEPT free members.
So, if you’re a MyNAMS Vault, MyNAMS Total Business System, or MyNAMS Insiders Club Elite member, you get access to all replays. Right now, there are 86 in there at http://nams.ws/replays.
You have to be logged in, but you should be able to access whatever you want and if not, please let me know. This is YOUR membership site and access is important.
Sandra Hovatter says
My mistake. I didn’t think we had access forever. There’s so much to find our way to on mynams.com. Thanks!
Stanley Davenport says
The ONLY way I can sit in on the Wednesday live training is if they are after 9:30 PM CST. Wednesday evenings involves a long standing commitment that can not be changed. That is why I just delete the reminders that our live training is coming up this Wednesday because I just cannot be there. I prefer to attend when they are live because of the interaction afforded me as an attendee. The replays are just not as good. So I don’t usually mess with them.
David Perdew says
Well, I love replays. The interaction is not there, but the training is. So, if you’re not watching the replays, I really think you’re missing an opportunity.
But…everyone manages their own time.
And I completely understand previous commitments – that’s why I’m doing this poll to see if we can find a more suitable time for most people.
Susan says
I am sick of people saying that if you are not prepared to attend at the time they say you should attend then you are not really committed. to their cause. How many of them would stay up to 1 am or 2 am to watch a webinar? It is not so bad if you live alone and have a flexible timetable so you can get some sleep before you have to start the day in earnest. It must put a terrible strain on the home if you do not live alone never mind cause problems because you are struggling to find a time when you can sleep.
You can be just as committed and watch replays at a time that is not so destructive on family relationships. That said it is impossible to please all of the people all of the time.
David Perdew says
Whoa Susan. Dial it back just a notch. Nobody here is saying that you have to attend live!
We have an incredibly liberal replay opportunity for everyone so you can watch replays anytime you want. And the reason I’m asking for the best time is to gauge it for the most people, that’s all. I absolutely know the importance of replays to the members.
Susan says
Yes I know you do but that is what makes you different. But you are a rare breed.
There are many whose expectations in terms of times and replays means that they turn away some people. They could have customers from all over the world if only they were more accepting of their differences including time differences. I get sick of being battered for lack of commitment by people who would be unwilling to do that thing themselves.
David Perdew says
Thanks – I like being a rare breed. Now we just have to figure out which species 🙂
Susan says
Silver Crested Perdew of course
Sharyn Warren says
Ditto Sandra and Bal. Too much to do and too much pressure to be locked down to a live or limited view time. I value relevant content that I can get to when it is best for me–and that is a moving target! Thanks for asking!
David Perdew says
Again, I just want to make sure you and everyone else understands that this is not about removing the replays at all. Just finding the time that suits most.
Amy says
I’m good with replays, but I’d like to make it to live when I can. 8 pm MDT is best for me. Either way, thanks for bringing so much value!
David Perdew says
Love bringing the value 🙂 just make sure you vote so we get your voice included if you haven’t already
Marie Rulnick says
I’m usually in my car all of those hours so I depend on the replays but would like to have them available for 2 weeks since I also work on weekends. I understand it would take up much space for them to stay up a long time.
David Perdew says
Marie – they are ALWAYS up and available at http://nams.ws/replays for members. They never come out unless it is on topic that is no longer relevant. Only removed two I think…
Victoria Pilkington says
Slightly confusing post. I clicked to the page to take the poll however had to reread several before I realized that you are notifying us in advance of it being on the page. When viewing the example on the page, it says Poll Closed. Took a minute to wrap my mind around what you were saying. Content it perfect, but next time with something like this I would launch the poll on the right at the same time that you are putting out the content. Just my 2 cents.
David Perdew says
Victoria – you just happened to click the poll during the 3 hour window when we had mistakenly closed it. It was open and should have been open when you saw it. It will be open until Aug. 12. You can vote now. It is set to only allow a person to vote once though.
Jane Gardner says
David,
As a new member and someone who has watched ?! webinars in the last few months, if you find a time that makes it reasonable for United Kingdom and Australia (if you have members there) to attend, you may have good attendance. 2pm in Vancouver, B.C. is 5pm in eastern, 10pm (ish) in United Kingdom and 7am in Sydney Australia. If you don’t have members all over the world then don’t need to accommodate 🙂
David Perdew says
Good to know Jane. Last I checked, 3 pm ET was winning, but I can sure see how 5 might be the ideal time.
Richard Schnur says
First I am always enriched.
I voted for 7pm eastern US, but the current 8pm or even 9pm would work IF the time limit is kept to 60-75 minutes.
It seems for a while the times kept stretching up to 1.5 to 2 hours. I can’t commit to that or I just check out after a while.
I know this is an industry trend (longer and higher pressure) and I’ll honestly say that if it is that long or worse there is no slider to skip ahead I don’t even watch. I don’t care how good the offer, I’m not watching not knowing how long. I think it is disrespectful of my time. Their loss.
I know you don’t do this. Maybe just a little rant. Sorry.
David Perdew says
Thanks Richard – always good to see you online (and off)…
Sandra Walsh says
I have another vote coming from the European Community (France). 2am is just toooo difficult. I can once in a while but the next day is too hard.
Like others, I also did not find the replays – nice to know they are there!
@Susan – I also have had some make the comment that if you can’t be there at 3 am every week you are not committed. Sorry, I DO have a family life … the same ones I’m trying to make a living in Internet Marketing to support!! It’s nice that this attitude is “missing” here.
Thanks!!!
Sandra Walsh says
PS – I voted for 3pm est but anytime between 2pm and 5pm is doable for me.
