David – how did you get these appraised? I’m in the same boat with several hundred I want to clean out, but not sure how much to charge.
Jeanette – I was pretty impressed that my registrar did this automatically for free. Obviously, I don’t know how valid these appraisals are. I mean, my house might appraise for a million bucks, but if someone is only willing to pay $200k, then the appraisal was just smoke. It really appears that the registrar has an automated way of determining: words, length, keyword effectiveness and other criteria. And then it drops them into value buckets with wide ranges. I’ll put together a little video on how I came up with this through my registrar which is http://simplenichedomains.com – a godaddy.com reseller.

No, Dan. These are strictly domains. Some of them have had sites on them, most have not. Most of them have been redirects to other sites, but now all of them are strictly domains.
