Biggest take-away from NAMS6? That’s a hard one because there were so many new ideas and important information. This was my first time – first NAMS, first introduction to affiliate marketing, first introduction to Internet marketing in general – so I had a lot to learn. The instructors were fantastic and so willing to give of their knowledge. I really enjoyed meeting so many enthusiastic, helpful, positive, growing entrepreneurs! I’m recently retired from the public sector and this crowd is sooooo refreshing.
Have to say my most important moment came listening to Kathleen Gage on Sunday and coming to realize the direction I wanted to go. Coming off a 33 year career it seemed that it made sense to stick with what I know and have some expertise in. But it just didn’t feel right since most days I never want to do it again. So I spent most of the 3 days confused about what was right for me but Kathleen put things in the different perspective for me. That along with meeting so many people who were making successful businesses out of what they enjoyed doing rather than what they felt they should be doing was eye opening. You really can make a business out of things you enjoy! Startling!
So, I’ve already connected with experts from NAMS who are going to help get me started and that’s another important take-away, especially for a newbie. There are lots of folks willing to share and help others move forward with their dreams and goals.
