Create Your Own Product Ideas

Create Your Own Product Ideas

Create Your Own Product Ideas

Are you ready to create your own product ideas? As a coach, you may not have thought about creating products, but you can. And, most likely, you already have products you can sell easily.

For this article, we will use a coaching business as our example about product ideas.

Coaching is an awesome career. You get to spend your time helping people achieve their goals in a very real way. It’s exhilarating and so awarding!

But at some point, you begin to ask yourself, “How can I reach even more people? How can I help more people reach their goals?”

The answer? Create and sell self-study programs.

Think about it. There just aren’t enough hours in the day for you to coach everyone who needs you. Not only that, but not everyone who needs your expertise can afford you, and not everyone has the time to invest. And even if they have the time and the money, they may not be willing to work one-on-one with a coach. Some people prefer the DIY method but that doesn’t mean you can’t help them.

It just means you have to reach these people in a new way, and for many coaches, that means creating products.

Easy Product Creation

Here’s the problem many people face when it comes to creating products. They get stuck in the doing. They’re so accustomed to guiding their clients on the phone or via webinar that they have a hard time putting together a step-by-step plan without that feedback they get on a live call.

How can you know what people need if you’re not talking to them one on one?

The answer is in your business, in the processes and systems that you use day after day, and it works no matter what your niche is.

Info Product Ideas

Weight loss coaches are nutrition experts with loads of go-to recipes and plenty of exercise routines. All they have to do is write them up and package them into a 6-week or 9-week self-help guide.

Business coaches run a business, and chances are you have dozens of checklists and worksheets, and other documentation that your clients would love to get their hands on. Brand them, bundle them, and get them up for sale. Very easy, right?

Life coaches have done plenty of work on their own well-being and growth, and likely have goal-setting strategies, affirmations, confidence-building techniques, and tons of other self-help ideas to share. People love this kind of content.

Create Your Own Product Ideas for Profit

These are the very things your market needs and wants from you, and it’s the perfect way for you to reach a larger audience. The lower price point means you’ll attract a whole new market—many of whom will “graduate” from the DIY approach to one-on-one coaching…with you!

If you’ve wondered how to expand your reach without working more hours, product creation is the answer. If you’ve struggled to earn more profits without working yourself to death, product creation is the answer. And if you’ve ever wanted to be of service to those who can’t afford a one-on-one coach, then product creation is definitely the answer.

And sharing your personal systems is the easiest way to create products your market wants and needs.

What is Content Production?

By David Perdew Leave a Comment

What is Content Production?

Content Production

What is content production and how does it work? Content production is more than just content creation. You need a content plan that has a purpose. If you intend to create content that is profitable, it needs to have value to your ideal audience. So, knowing who they are and what they need will help you create the right content and in the right format.

Content Production includes all of the elements you need to create and distribute your content. For example, it comprises of the actual content, as well as any images, and graphics, the plan to execute the publication of the content. as well as any other steps and components required for the distribution of the content itself.

Blog Posts and Articles

Blog posts tend to be shorter than articles, however, some posts can reach 1,000 words or more. A blog post is often written in a more friendly and conversational manner. This is the type of post you would write that allows people to get to know who you are.

An article, on the other hand, tends to be more informative or educational. This content could be published on your website, and article directories. Articles tend to be longer and can be split into two or more parts, to create a series.

If you're interested in using storytelling for your blog posts, click here to get more information about storytelling.

Product Reviews

As the name suggests this is a piece of content that is reviewing a particular product. For instance,  affiliate marketers use this type of content to promote a product on their website.

A good review is typically around 700 words in length and provides the reader with the pros and the cons of a product. If you are planning on writing lots of reviews, it often helps own the product. Therefore, you can give your unbiased opinion on it, and you can offer suggestions on how to use it, any issues that someone might experience, and what your favorite things are about it.

A content production plan is vital when you want to communicate to your audience about the news of your latest product review launch and keeping up with the deadlines of specials, etc.

Content Management Content Production MyNAMS

Reports

Reports can vary in length. From 2,500 words in length to those that run over 10,000 words.  Therefore, a report should have a table of contents page or be divided into sections.

It often helps to include images, diagrams, and photographs in a report. This makes the report appear visually pleasing to the eye and easier to read. Not everyone will print out a report. Make sure the layout looks professional and is easy to read on your digital device.

Many people use reports as an opt-in gift to exchange for email information. By building a list of interested subscribers, you can create a relationship by them getting to know, like, and trust you. For instance, you build this relationship through a nurture series created when they first sign up to your list.

As your relationship grows, your audience will look forward to hearing about your offers along with valuable content they can use.

Video Script Content

People enjoy consuming content in the form of videos. Change up your blog posts and post a video here and there. Add the videos to your social media platforms too.

Content production templates for all of your promotional scripts and ideas will make it much easier to create the content you need with consistency across your various online platforms.

Hopefully, as a result of reading this blog post, you know what content production is and how to use it. Planning and creating your content should be strategic and align with the format your audience prefers. The first step is to know your niche audience and create content specific to them and their needs. Develop a plan to consistently create and publish your content everywhere.

How to Write SEO optimized Articles

By David Perdew Leave a Comment

How to Write SEO Optimized Articles

How to write seo optimized articles

As an online content creator, knowing how to write SEO Optimized articles for your blog and other published content.

Begin with an article that promotes your products and promotes your blog by pulling in traffic from Google and other search engines.

This is referred to as search engine optimized (SEO) content.

How do you do it?

Choose the keywords your market is already searching for in the search engines. Next, research the topic and create content that will rank your blog pages well in search engines for these keywords.

Step1 Choose Your Keywords Wisely

Go to WordTracker.com or your favorite keyword tool. Enter your broad keywords, such as “bodybuilding” or “parrots,” and look at the results. The tool will show you how many people search for each word in the major search engines.

Of course, it would be incredible if you could rank well for a word that gets hundreds or thousands of searches each day. So you can imagine the traffic you’d get. But the thing is, many other marketers are doing full SEO campaigns to rank well for those words. And these SEO experts are good at what they’d do, so they’d easily outrank you for the most popular keywords.

The solution?

Ready to learn how to write SEO optimized articles?

Yes, I'm Ready!

Focus on the Longtail Keywords

Longtail keywords can be four or five-word phrases. They may not have as many people searching for them each day. BUT they also don’t have a lot of competition. And that means you can rank well for them.

Tip: WordTracker provides a KEI (keyword effectiveness index) value. This gives you an idea of how popular a word is relative to how much competition there is. You want to find words with a value of at least 100. However, the higher, the better.

Example: A competitive keyword is something like “weight loss.” But a less competitive longtail keyword is “weight loss for women over 40.”

Step 2 Create Content Around the Keywords and Longtail Keywords

Once you’ve created a list of keywords with a high KEI value, the next step is to write articles around them.

You should include your keyword in the title of your article and one or two times for every 100 words of content. So if your article is 400 words, your keyword should appear four to eight times in the article.

For example, you can create an article titled “The Secrets of Weight Loss for Women Over 40.” Then you can sprinkle the keyword throughout the article, such as, “Weight loss for women over 40 – is it even possible?” Or, “Maybe you’ve been thinking about weight loss for women over 40.”

How to Start a Mailing List

By David Perdew Leave a Comment

How to Start a Mailing List in 3 Simple Steps

How to Start an Email List

Learn how to start a mailing list by following these 3 steps. One of the keys to building a successful business is to build responsive, targeted mailing lists. This includes your prospect list and your list of buyers. For the purposes of this article, we’ll focus on how to build a prospect list.

When you are building your email list, always keep in mind that you don't want everyone to sign up for your freebies. Instead, focus on your ideal client or customer's needs. Know their pain points and focus on attracting those people.

To have a quality list, you need a specific target that craves what you offer.

How to Start a Mailing List

Step 1: Create an Enticing Lead Magnet

Your first step is to do your market research to find out what your market wants. You can do this by visiting marketplaces like Udemy.com, ClickBank.com, and Amazon.com to see what sort of infoproducts they’re already buying. Look for bestselling products in your niche and multiple products on the same topic, both of which are signs that a product is popular.

The key here is to find out what type of product people are buying, but then create something fresh. In other words, don’t copy anyone’s product. Instead, create a product on the same topic with your own fresh perspective and unique tips and information.

Step 2: Capture Leads

The next step is to set up a landing page so you can start capturing peoples’ information.

Here you need two things:

#1 A Trusted Autoresponder

For example Aweber, GetResponse, ConvertKit, or something similar.  Follow their instructions for setting up a mailing list and inserting an opt-in form into your lead page.

#2 Compelling Content for Your Lead Page

If you’re not familiar with how to craft benefit-driven sales copy, then outsource this task to a professional. Search Google for copywriters, or post a job on a freelancing site like UpWork.com.

Tell Me More!

Step 3: Create Emails

Every email you send from your initial autoresponder series through all live broadcasts should seek to build relationships and presell your offers.

With Those Goals in Mind, Follow These Tips

Provide Useful Yet Incomplete Information

The useful information helps you build good relationships with your subscribers, while the “incomplete” information gives you an opportunity to sell the rest of the solution on the backend.

For example, you can provide really good and useful dieting tips, and then sell a diet guide at the end of the email.

Promote One Offer Per Email

This helps boost your conversion rate.

Create a series. People rarely buy a product the first time they hear about it. That’s why you’ll want to send three to five emails for each product you’re promoting.

For example, if you’re selling a diet guide, then you might send out a three-part series called “The Three Keys to Rapid Weight Loss.” Each email would provide one useful key and then promote the offer at the end.

Why Build an Email List?

Building a solid, responsive list of your ideal clients and customers is vital for the success of your business. You need buyers, right?

Done correctly, your list will be loyal, repeat customers.

Building a responsive list is about taking these steps:

Offering something people really want in exchange for their email address.

Sending really useful content on a regular basis so that people keep opening your emails.

When you build a responsive list, then making money is as simple as promoting offers that you know your audience will really love. So, go ahead and put this information to work to start building your list as soon as possible!

5 Tips to Get Your First 1000 Subscribers

5 Tips to Get Your First 1000 Subscribers

get your first 1000 subscribers

Get your first 1000 subscribers can feel overwhelming. But, it doesn’t have to be. Online entrepreneurs know how vital having an email list is to their success. But how do you do it? The first thing you need to understand is that they are people, not just names with dollar signs attached.

With that in mind, you need to make a connection with them. Then, once they are on your list, you need to nurture and build an authentic, trusting relationship with them over time.

But first, how do you get them on your list?

The following tips don’t need to be implemented at the same time. Instead, select which ones that appeal to you and track to see how well they are work.

Note that these five tips are only part of a list-building strategy.  If you’re looking for an in-depth way to get more subscribers, click here.

Get Your First 1000 Subscribers

1. Plan Your Content

You can’t just fly by the seat of your pants with your content!  To provide consistent, quality content, you need to take the time to create it. Likewise, when you outsource content, you need to plan it.

An Editorial Calendar will keep you organized. There are many apps that you can use. However, a Google calendar will work for your needs. Coordinate your blog posts, social posts, and emails in advance to make sure you have the type of content you need when you need it.

2. Tell Stories

It’s no secret - stories sell. They will warm up your audience and help accelerate the know-like-trust factor. Once that connection takes place, they will be more likely to buy from you.

You can sprinkle stories into your blog posts, emails, and social media. Don’t get too carried away with the storytelling, though. Interject them naturally.

For example, if something funny happened that reminded you of a business-related topic, share it with your audience so they can have a chuckle about it too.

3. Create a Video Presentation or Demo

People can’t get enough of videos, primarily when they teach something.

Use a screencast software to show your audience how to do something or walk them through the member’s area they just joined.

where to learn affiliate marketing

Are you frustrated with your list-building results?

Getting subscribers is profitable when you master key principles!

Tell Me More!

4. Be Approachable on Social Media Within Reason

Social media is an excellent platform to put yourself amid your target audience. The key to this is to know your audience well enough to be present online when they are. If time zones make it challenging, you can always respond to comments and questions for them to see the next time they are back.

Be approachable and trustworthy. Sharing with others the mistakes you made in your business shows that you are a real person, just like them.

It shows that you are experienced and can help them overcome the challenges in their business. Talk about building trust! This is powerful!

5. Have a Conversation, Not a Sales Pitch

Adding subscribers to your list shouldn’t feel like a sales pitch to your reader. Instead, decide to have a conversation-style approach. Imagine having a conversation with a person who may need something you have to offer sometime.

This is where building a relationship begins. A genuine desire to give them a chance to get to know you can result in a loyal customer base for years to come. If you throw out non-stop sales pitches, you’ll lose people in the long run.

Getting subscribers is different than selling a product. Warm them up through conversational-style contact. Give them a chance to see you as someone who cares about them, not just their money.

Save the sales pitch for your sales pages, offers, and more appropriate places.

The Best Way to Get Email Subscribers?

Be consistent and keep giving. Consistency should be an automatic habit you have in your business. Set up your Editorial Calendar (blog posts, social media posts, and email sequences) on a schedule that works for your audience, and stick to it.

Staying in touch with your subscribers is vital. It’s easier to keep someone on your list than to capture new leads. So make it a win-win situation by communicating with your audience regularly.

Find ways to give your audience what they want and need. It can be free information or paid products. Once they realize you want to help them, it makes a positive impression.

Share social posts that make a difference to your community. Find better ways to serve your email subscribers, and they will become your loyal fans and email subscribers.

Are You Ready to Take Action and Build Your List?

These five tips in this article are a small example of how to get your first 1000 subscribers. You need more in-depth ways to grow and keep your subscribers happy successfully.
