Standing out doesn’t mean being noticed, capturing interest, sparking engagement, and leaving a lasting impression. To navigate this digital landscape. Here are effective social media strategies to help your content rise above the noise and make an impact:

Create Your Own Product Ideas

Create Your Own Product Ideas

Create Your Own Product Ideas

Are you ready to create your own product ideas? As a coach, you may not have thought about creating products, but you can. And, most likely, you already have products you can sell easily.

For this article, we will use a coaching business as our example about product ideas.

Coaching is an awesome career. You get to spend your time helping people achieve their goals in a very real way. It’s exhilarating and so awarding!

But at some point, you begin to ask yourself, “How can I reach even more people? How can I help more people reach their goals?”

The answer? Create and sell self-study programs.

Think about it. There just aren’t enough hours in the day for you to coach everyone who needs you. Not only that, but not everyone who needs your expertise can afford you, and not everyone has the time to invest. And even if they have the time and the money, they may not be willing to work one-on-one with a coach. Some people prefer the DIY method but that doesn’t mean you can’t help them.

It just means you have to reach these people in a new way, and for many coaches, that means creating products.

Easy Product Creation

Here’s the problem many people face when it comes to creating products. They get stuck in the doing. They’re so accustomed to guiding their clients on the phone or via webinar that they have a hard time putting together a step-by-step plan without that feedback they get on a live call.

How can you know what people need if you’re not talking to them one on one?

The answer is in your business, in the processes and systems that you use day after day, and it works no matter what your niche is.

Info Product Ideas

Weight loss coaches are nutrition experts with loads of go-to recipes and plenty of exercise routines. All they have to do is write them up and package them into a 6-week or 9-week self-help guide.

Business coaches run a business, and chances are you have dozens of checklists and worksheets, and other documentation that your clients would love to get their hands on. Brand them, bundle them, and get them up for sale. Very easy, right?

Life coaches have done plenty of work on their own well-being and growth, and likely have goal-setting strategies, affirmations, confidence-building techniques, and tons of other self-help ideas to share. People love this kind of content.

Create Your Own Product Ideas for Profit

These are the very things your market needs and wants from you, and it’s the perfect way for you to reach a larger audience. The lower price point means you’ll attract a whole new market—many of whom will “graduate” from the DIY approach to one-on-one coaching…with you!

If you’ve wondered how to expand your reach without working more hours, product creation is the answer. If you’ve struggled to earn more profits without working yourself to death, product creation is the answer. And if you’ve ever wanted to be of service to those who can’t afford a one-on-one coach, then product creation is definitely the answer.

And sharing your personal systems is the easiest way to create products your market wants and needs.

What is Content Production?

By David Perdew Leave a Comment

What is Content Production?

Content Production

What is content production and how does it work? Content production is more than just content creation. You need a content plan that has a purpose. If you intend to create content that is profitable, it needs to have value to your ideal audience. So, knowing who they are and what they need will help you create the right content and in the right format.

Content Production includes all of the elements you need to create and distribute your content. For example, it comprises of the actual content, as well as any images, and graphics, the plan to execute the publication of the content. as well as any other steps and components required for the distribution of the content itself.

Blog Posts and Articles

Blog posts tend to be shorter than articles, however, some posts can reach 1,000 words or more. A blog post is often written in a more friendly and conversational manner. This is the type of post you would write that allows people to get to know who you are.

An article, on the other hand, tends to be more informative or educational. This content could be published on your website, and article directories. Articles tend to be longer and can be split into two or more parts, to create a series.

If you're interested in using storytelling for your blog posts, click here to get more information about storytelling.

Product Reviews

As the name suggests this is a piece of content that is reviewing a particular product. For instance,  affiliate marketers use this type of content to promote a product on their website.

A good review is typically around 700 words in length and provides the reader with the pros and the cons of a product. If you are planning on writing lots of reviews, it often helps own the product. Therefore, you can give your unbiased opinion on it, and you can offer suggestions on how to use it, any issues that someone might experience, and what your favorite things are about it.

A content production plan is vital when you want to communicate to your audience about the news of your latest product review launch and keeping up with the deadlines of specials, etc.

Reports

Reports can vary in length. From 2,500 words in length to those that run over 10,000 words.  Therefore, a report should have a table of contents page or be divided into sections.

It often helps to include images, diagrams, and photographs in a report. This makes the report appear visually pleasing to the eye and easier to read. Not everyone will print out a report. Make sure the layout looks professional and is easy to read on your digital device.

Many people use reports as an opt-in gift to exchange for email information. By building a list of interested subscribers, you can create a relationship by them getting to know, like, and trust you. For instance, you build this relationship through a nurture series created when they first sign up to your list.

As your relationship grows, your audience will look forward to hearing about your offers along with valuable content they can use.

Video Script Content

People enjoy consuming content in the form of videos. Change up your blog posts and post a video here and there. Add the videos to your social media platforms too.

Content production templates for all of your promotional scripts and ideas will make it much easier to create the content you need with consistency across your various online platforms.

Hopefully, as a result of reading this blog post, you know what content production is and how to use it. Planning and creating your content should be strategic and align with the format your audience prefers. The first step is to know your niche audience and create content specific to them and their needs. Develop a plan to consistently create and publish your content everywhere.

How to Write SEO optimized Articles

By David Perdew Leave a Comment

How to Write SEO Optimized Articles

How to write seo optimized articles

As an online content creator, knowing how to write SEO Optimized articles for your blog and other published content.

Begin with an article that promotes your products and promotes your blog by pulling in traffic from Google and other search engines.

This is referred to as search engine optimized (SEO) content.

How do you do it?

Choose the keywords your market is already searching for in the search engines. Next, research the topic and create content that will rank your blog pages well in search engines for these keywords.

Step1 Choose Your Keywords Wisely

Go to WordTracker.com or your favorite keyword tool. Enter your broad keywords, such as “bodybuilding” or “parrots,” and look at the results. The tool will show you how many people search for each word in the major search engines.

Of course, it would be incredible if you could rank well for a word that gets hundreds or thousands of searches each day. So you can imagine the traffic you’d get. But the thing is, many other marketers are doing full SEO campaigns to rank well for those words. And these SEO experts are good at what they’d do, so they’d easily outrank you for the most popular keywords.

The solution?

Ready to learn how to write SEO optimized articles?

Yes, I'm Ready!

Focus on the Longtail Keywords

Longtail keywords can be four or five-word phrases. They may not have as many people searching for them each day. BUT they also don’t have a lot of competition. And that means you can rank well for them.

Tip: WordTracker provides a KEI (keyword effectiveness index) value. This gives you an idea of how popular a word is relative to how much competition there is. You want to find words with a value of at least 100. However, the higher, the better.

Example: A competitive keyword is something like “weight loss.” But a less competitive longtail keyword is “weight loss for women over 40.”

Step 2 Create Content Around the Keywords and Longtail Keywords

Once you’ve created a list of keywords with a high KEI value, the next step is to write articles around them.

You should include your keyword in the title of your article and one or two times for every 100 words of content. So if your article is 400 words, your keyword should appear four to eight times in the article.

For example, you can create an article titled “The Secrets of Weight Loss for Women Over 40.” Then you can sprinkle the keyword throughout the article, such as, “Weight loss for women over 40 – is it even possible?” Or, “Maybe you’ve been thinking about weight loss for women over 40.”

Writing eBooks for Money and Expert Status Part 2

By David Perdew Leave a Comment

Writing eBooks for Money and Expert Status Part 2

Writing eBooks for Money and Expert Status

Writing eBooks for Money and Expert Status Part 1  covered the extra benefits of writing your eBook for money, identified your goal for writing the book, and addressed time management and deadlines.

Today we’ll look at some obstacles you may encounter and how to avoid them, choosing a publishing platform, and planning your launch.

Distractions, Procrastination, and Life, Oh My!

Life happens.

There will be situations where you cannot avoid, kids get sick, the car breaks down or a client ‘has an emergency’ that will creep into your writing time. You make adjustments by re-scheduling your writing time.

Now, procrastination is a whole different animal. You will look for anything to divert your attention to avoid writing. At these times, you have to acknowledge that your focus needs to stay on your writing.

You cannot plan for the unexpected events of life when they happen, but you can plan ahead for some of the areas you can control.

For example:

  • Post your business hours on your website and let clients know that you will not be available for responding to phone calls or emails during those specific times.
  • Schedule play dates during writing times to keep the kids and their distractions away from the house.
  • Close your office door to prevent distractions.
  • Let your family and friends know that you will be unavailable during specific scheduled times.
  • Turn off your phone, email, and Skype during writing time.
  • Turn off your internet access while writing, unless you need it to do research.

With procrastination, it is all you. You know what is likely to trigger it while having a plan in place to keep your motivation. Lose your motivation and you lose sight of completing your book.

Reward yourself for reaching milestones. Get an accountability partner to help you stay focused.

Recognize the signs of procrastination and determine how you will resist the urge.

Writing you eBook for money requires you to stay focused and not procrastinate. Is there money writing books? Yes, but you have to get it written. Don't self-sabotage yourself by allowing procrastination hold you up.

Choose a Publishing Platform

There are two categories of publishing: self-publishing or traditional publishing.

Traditional publishing typically involves hiring an agent to sell your book to a publishing house. The publisher requests edits, your cover, format and print, and distributes your book. In return, you get royalties.

Traditional publishing can be a tough path to take. It is extremely competitive, but it is considered the best way to get your book published in print.

Digital and on-demand publishing have given authors an economical way to get their books published. You have many options to select from without it costing you a small fortune to self-publish.

Recall the first question: What’s your book writing goal? Unless your response is to be on the New York Times bestseller list, self-publishing may be the best choice for you.

Self-publishing will quickly get your book out there.

Find out how to get started writing ebooks for money!

Yes, I'm Ready to Write my book!

Writing ebooks for Money Options with Self-publishing Include:

  • Digital delivery, print, or both?
  • Kindle, Smashwords, Nook, or others?
  • Create Space, Lulu, Blurb?

First-time authors with text-based content may consider Kindle or Create Space (Amazon’s print on demand) is typically the best choice.

If your book is image-based, such as photography, check out Blurb.

What platform is your competition using?

Kindle publishing has strict formatting guidelines. Pay attention to the special formatting.

By the way, your book will be judged by its cover. It needs to catch the reader’s attention. Your brand colors, fonts, and images are important.  Make sure that it is easy to read on a small screen.

Speaking of covers, you can drill down on your message by writing the back cover blurb. With limited space, you can combine the sales copy to include only the necessary information.

Read the back covers of books in your niche, you gain incredible insight into what authors are writing about with their slant of the topic, what the market finds appealing, and where ‘holes’ are in the available content.

Your back cover blurb should include who your book is for, why it’s needed right now, and what there is to learn. It needs to be less than four to five paragraphs. Take your time with this.

Writing You eBook for Money Launch Planning

Best Way to Promote Your Book

There are many options for promoting your eBook. Take some time to research your competition to see what their eBook promotions look like. Be inspired by what they do, then apply it to your promotion plan.

Getting interviewed in newspapers or magazines

Blog about it

Free Kindle days

Give away a free chapter prior to launch

Recruit your subscribers to share about your book

Send free review copies to colleagues/list members

Share your book writing progress on social media

As you can see from the list above, you have many free ways to promote your book. You can also explore paid options for your promotion.

Writing You eBook for Money Launch Planning

Your book launch has 3 phases.

  • Pre-Release - let everyone know about your upcoming book and get the buzz going.
  • Release -Increase the buzz, garner interviews, and be seen everywhere.
  • Post-Release - continue to make sales, email your list, engage with your audience on social media.

Many people talk about writing a book and never get around to doing it.  Congratulations if you have written a book! Hopefully, these blog posts have re-inspired you to write your book if you haven't written it yet.
